The RIO Premier Technical Trout has a long, fine front taper for the lightest of presentations and delicacy. This line is perfect for use with dry flies, nymphs, soft hackles and emergers. This line has a long head and back taper which is to increase loop control when carrying long lengths of line or long casts. In addition to that, it will allow anglers to make precise casts to rising fish while the weight distribution will make it easy to turn over long leaders for finicky feeders at range.
