High octane. Following the lead of our heavy-duty Guru S HD reel, the Speedster S HD incorporates a full-cage design to capture line without failure. The full-cage design is the solution for thin-diameter running lines that are inclined to escape through spool/line-guard gaps. Speedster S HD and Speedster S have a taller and narrower format compared to other reels in our lineup.

Waterworks Lamson Speedster Reel - A reel hot rod. A super-high retrieve rate reel, the Speedster S features a narrower spool, inboard mounted handle, and an outer diameter significantly larger than our highest performing reels. The narrow spool prevents line barreling, while the inboard handle and added circumference improve retrieve rate.

The LSM incorporates close tolerance composite bearings, and comes equipped with the same linear spring set found on LSF, optimized for each reel size. Like our Cobalt reel, it holds an IPX8 waterproof rating to 100 ft.
