Based on its mass, Dyneema's tensile strength of 200 kg/ 440 lbs is 15x greater than steel, 5x stronger than Nylon and 40% stronger than Kevlar. Dyneema is so light that it floats and has a high resistance to abrasion, humidity, UV radiation and chemicals. Dyneema is static and will not stretch as wind force increases.
