Its tied the same way as the original Buckeye Mop Jig, providing its characteristic mop-like profile, except it actually uses a thinner diameter living rubber skirt in place of the heavy rubber used for the original. The thinner rubber helps accelerate the fall of the jig, and provides it with a smaller, finesse profile perfect for finicky bass, or spotted and smallmouth bass.

The Buckeye Lures Football Mop Jig is a Davy Hite special. The Mop Jig features hand-tied living rubber coupled with silicon to create life-like color combinations. This big jig was designed to be fished deep, while dragging and hopping it over stucture to trigger the feeding instincts of big bas all over the country.
